Quality
Quality is Our Number One Priority!
Customer drawings and specs are carefully checked for correctness before assembly begins. Consignment order kits are audited within 48 hours at UMAI to ensure component counts and values are correctly received against the bill of material provided. Our vendors are carefully chosen for their high reliability of products and services they provide. UMAI employees are carefully trained technicians who take pride in delivering the highest quality assemblies. In-process inspections at each operation avoid costly rework at the end of an assembly.
UMAI Quality System is documented in four levels :
- Level 1 - United Manufacturing Assembly, Inc. Quality Policies which provide a description of the
methods used to establish, evaluate, maintain, and modify the quality program. - Level 2 - United Manufacturing Assembly, Inc. Procedures which provide a description of the
operating processes implemented to control the day to day work activity. - Level 3 - Plans, flow charts, check lists, and work instructions which provide a description of
the guidelines used to perform specific work activity, such as kitting, inspections, testing
and audits. - Level 4 - Forms, travelers, stamps, and process related materials.
